Menurut, Dirjen Koperasi dan UMKM. (2021). Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia merujuk pada sektor bisnis yang memiliki skala kecil hingga menengah dengan jumlah karyawan kurang dari 250 orang dan aset kurang dari Rp 10 miliar. UMKM memiliki peran yang penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia karena kontribusinya terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, penciptaan lapangan kerja, dan pengentasan kemiskinan.
